Mother Prasad Sivatharsany 24 year old fromTheravil, Visuvamadu was injured by shell attack on 02 March 2009.She had injury on her lower abdomen and treated at Puthumathalan hospital. She was admitted with labor pain on 13 March 2009. 14 March morning she delivered a beautiful baby. Health staff noticed that the child has shell piece on her left thigh. The child underwent small surgery immediately after birth before first feeding.
